this made me lol
GameaPlaya Says:
I know this is going to sound biased since I'm a Detroit Lions fan but Stafford is an awesome quarterback. Hes also the well deserved comeback player of the year for playing his first full season on the Lions and passing over 5000 yards. He even reduced his contract resigning pay to help the Lions out with the salary cap which shows he is a real team player! For those complaining about Stafford's recognition just because hes on the Detroit Lions GET OVER IT because hes just getting started!!!
chickenshit72 Says:
rogers was really bad in the playoffs, the lions will be a very good team next year, good enough to sweep the packers, and stafford will probably put up even better numbers next year, and i think rogers will still be really good, but his numbers will decrease and i think the packers lose more games next year,

after college I'm working at ESPN!
jbernal7782 Says:
I agree that he will be better than Brees, but i don't think he will be better than Rodgers, even with Johnson. As much as i hate the Packers, Rodgers is smart, mobile, and accurate. Both Rodgers and Stafford have the same number of INT but Rodgers has 72 more touchdowns. I think Rodgers could be an all time great.
chickenshit72 Says:
he will be better than rogers and brees. he is much smarter than people think, much like peyton manning, and id say he has the strongest arm in the league.
gerizzyYMcrew Says:
Good point. He should have been in the Pro Bowl, though.
jbernal7782 Says:
Just like to point out 5000 yards is nothing anymore. The nfl is a pass happy league, and he has megatron. That being said he had a great season, but he wasn't better than Rodgers and Brees. He might have been better than newton, but Cam's season was impressive because he's a rookie and he broke multiple rookie records.
ShadowJ20 Says:
Calvin never had a winning season in the NFL before Stafford came along. I honestly believe if Stafford wasn't playing for Detroit CJ would want to leave. But finally CJ has a winning season because Stafford played all 16. Now CJ wants an extension.
MichiganMadman81 Says:
what a fucking cannon!

CAChrisAnthony Says:
thats bulllshit. this guy should have been in the pro bowl
gerizzyYMcrew Says:
5,082 Yards in passing with a broken finger, 40+ touchdowns, turned a 0-16 team around to 10-6, got The Lions back to the playoffs since 1997, and Stafford wasn't in the 2012 Pro Bowl?
rememberzack1 Says:
not quite sure what you are trying to say but either way im going to say stafford and johnson are two elite players in the league no questions asked

tonywilfordruiz Says:
Megatron is better dumb ass
iAmDeathSpank Says:
His running backs are actually above average. Its his o-line that is like the worst in the league, they make the RBs look bad. Specifically Raiola and Peterman. Sure, they dont give up much sacks, but they're terrible at opening lanes for the RB.
hotluderick32 Says:
actually Tron had 12 TDs and over 1000 yards in two of the previous four seasons with bums throwing to him, people just weren't paying attention till this year, but obviously Stafford is a beast as well so when you put them together for a whole season you get 16 tds and over 1500 yards. and its only going to get better...
